Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide our Services to you.
These Terms of Service ("Terms"), together with any policies referenced herein, describe your rights and responsibilities when accessing our website or purchasing our products.
Please read these Terms carefully, as they contain important information regarding purchases, product use, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.
By visiting, interacting with, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you should not access or use our Services.
SECTION 1 — ACCESS AND ACCOUNT
By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state of residence or have obtained any legally required parental or guardian consent.
To access certain Services or purchase products, you may be asked to provide information including your name, email address, billing information, payment details, and shipping address.
You agree that all information provided is accurate, current, and complete.
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity occurring through your account.
You may not transfer, sell, assign, or license your customer account to another person without our written authorization.
SECTION 2 — OUR PRODUCTS
Houndier makes reasonable efforts to accurately represent its products, including product descriptions, ingredients, sizes, photographs, and usage instructions.
However, product appearance, packaging, and colors may vary slightly from images displayed on your device.
Product descriptions, availability, and specifications may be updated without prior notice.
We reserve the right to discontinue products, modify product offerings, or limit purchase quantities at our discretion, subject to applicable law.
Product Use and Safety
Houndier grooming products are intended for their stated purposes and should be used in accordance with the instructions provided on their packaging.
Unless otherwise expressly indicated, our grooming products are intended for external use on dogs.
Customers should:
- Review all product ingredients and directions before use.
- Avoid direct contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, and other sensitive areas.
- Discontinue use if irritation or an adverse reaction occurs.
- Keep products out of reach of children and pets when not in use.
- Consult a veterinarian before introducing new grooming products if their dog has known sensitivities, allergies, or an existing skin condition.
Houndier products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease and are not substitutes for professional veterinary care.
Nothing in this section excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
SECTION 3 — ORDERS
When you place an order through our website, you are submitting an offer to purchase the selected products.
Houndier reserves the right to accept, decline, or cancel an order, subject to applicable law.
An order is considered accepted once we confirm its acceptance. Payment must be successfully received and processed before an order is fulfilled.
Please review your order carefully before submitting it. Once an order has entered processing or fulfillment, we may be unable to accommodate cancellation or modification requests.
If an order is declined, modified, or canceled, we will attempt to notify you using the contact information provided during checkout.
Any applicable refund will be processed in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable law.
Retail Purchases
Purchases made through our standard online checkout are intended for personal or household use and not for unauthorized commercial resale or export.
Wholesale and Retail Partnerships
Wholesale purchases, authorized resale arrangements, and Houndier Retail Partner relationships are governed by separate written agreements.
These Terms do not independently establish wholesale pricing, reseller authorization, territorial rights, or Retail Partner status.
Customers interested in purchasing products for commercial resale should contact wholesale@houndier.com.
SECTION 4 — PRICES AND BILLING
All prices displayed on houndier.com are listed in United States dollars unless otherwise indicated.
Prices, discounts, product availability, and promotional offers may change without notice.
The price charged for a product will be the applicable price displayed at the time the order is placed, subject to correction of errors and applicable law.
Unless otherwise stated, displayed product prices do not include applicable sales taxes, shipping charges, or other fees calculated during checkout.
Customers agree to provide accurate and complete billing and payment information and represent that they are authorized to use their selected payment method.
Houndier reserves the right to correct pricing errors and cancel affected orders when permitted by law. If payment has already been collected for an order we cancel, an appropriate refund will be issued.
Promotional offers may be subject to additional terms. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the specific promotional terms will govern that promotion.
SECTION 5 — SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Houndier currently ships products to eligible addresses within the United States.
Shipping options, applicable charges, and estimated delivery information will be presented during checkout or otherwise communicated before purchase.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Actual delivery times may vary due to carrier operations, weather conditions, service interruptions, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to process and ship orders within the timeframe communicated at purchase.
If we cannot ship an order within the promised timeframe, we will provide any notices, cancellation options, and refunds required by applicable law.
Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information.
If an order cannot be delivered because of an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, additional shipping charges may apply where permitted by law.
Lost or Damaged Shipments
If an order arrives damaged, contains broken products, or appears to have been compromised during transit, please contact hello@houndier.com.
Customers should provide their order number, a description of the issue, and photographs of the damaged product and packaging where reasonably available.
Claims involving damaged or missing merchandise will be reviewed under our Refund Policy and applicable consumer protection laws.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies customers may have under applicable law concerning damaged, lost, or undelivered merchandise.
SECTION 6 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content available through the Services, including trademarks, logos, product names, text, photographs, graphics, designs, videos, and other materials, is owned by Houndier, its affiliates, or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Houndier may introduce, modify, or discontinue optional website features at its discretion.
New features made available through our website will also be subject to these Terms unless otherwise stated.
SECTION 8 — THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Our website may contain links to independently operated third-party websites, resources, or services.
Houndier does not control these external websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices.
Accessing third-party websites is at your discretion.
We encourage customers to review the terms and privacy policies of third-party websites before providing personal information or completing transactions.
SECTION 9 — RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and Houndier, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Houndier.

If you voluntarily submit product reviews, photographs, suggestions, ideas, comments, or other feedback ("Feedback"), you grant Houndier a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute that Feedback in connection with operating, improving, and promoting our business.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to submit the Feedback and that its use will not infringe upon the rights of another person.
You remain responsible for the accuracy and legality of Feedback you submit.
We reserve the right to moderate or remove Feedback that violates applicable law, infringes intellectual property rights, contains malicious content, or otherwise violates these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms prohibits customers from providing truthful reviews, expressing genuine opinions, or exercising rights protected by applicable consumer protection laws.
SECTION 12 — ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OMISSIONS
Occasionally, information on our website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, availability, promotions, shipping charges, or delivery estimates.
Houndier reserves the right to correct such information and update website content without prior notice.

You agree to use our website and Services only for lawful purposes.
You may not:

- Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of Houndier or others.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, or misrepresent another person or entity.
- Submit false or misleading information.

- Collect or misuse the personal information of others.
- Send unsolicited commercial messages or spam through our Services.
- Circumvent security measures or restrictions intended to protect the website.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access when we reasonably determine that these Terms have been violated, subject to applicable law.
SECTION 14 — AUTOMATED AGENTS
This section applies to software, services, or automated systems that autonomously or semi-autonomously access or interact with our website ("Agents").
Agents must comply with applicable laws and any technical or access restrictions established for our Services.
Automated access must not conceal its identity, circumvent security measures, bypass CAPTCHAs, or interfere with the normal operation of our website.
Where required by our published access requirements, Agents must identify themselves accurately, including through their user agent information.
Houndier reserves the right to restrict or block automated access that violates these Terms or threatens the security or functionality of our Services.
Nothing in this section prohibits activities protected by applicable law.
SECTION 15 — TERMINATION
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our Services when reasonably necessary to address violations of these Terms, suspected fraud, security concerns, or unlawful activity.
Termination does not eliminate outstanding payment obligations or affect rights and responsibilities that arose before termination.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective, including intellectual property, liability limitations, indemnification, and dispute-related provisions.
SECTION 16 — DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate website information and provide products consistent with their descriptions.
However, website content and Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not guarantee that website access will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from technical disruptions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Houndier disclaims warranties not expressly provided, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions or limitations. Accordingly, some exclusions may not apply to you.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies warranties, consumer guarantees, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified.
SECTION 17 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Houndier and its officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of the Services or products purchased through the Services.
This may include loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or other consequential losses, where such exclusions are legally permitted.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or other conduct for which limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Nothing in this section restricts customers from exercising non-waivable statutory rights or remedies relating to defective products, personal injury, or other legally protected claims.
SECTION 18 — INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Houndier and its officers, employees, affiliates, contractors, and service providers against third-party claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable legal expenses arising from:
- Your material breach of these Terms.
- Your violation of applicable law.
- Your infringement of another party's intellectual property or other legal rights.
- Your intentional misuse of the Services.
This provision does not require indemnification for claims arising from Houndier's own negligence, unlawful conduct, or other matters for which indemnification is prohibited by applicable law.
SECTION 19 — SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed where necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
SECTION 20 — WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of our right to enforce that provision in the future.
These Terms, together with the policies incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement governing your use of our website and retail Services.
Separate written agreements governing wholesale purchases or authorized Retail Partner relationships remain subject to their respective terms.
If a provision of these Terms conflicts with a non-waivable right under applicable law, the applicable law will control.
SECTION 21 — ASSIGNMENT
You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Houndier may assign or transfer its rights and obligations in connection with a legitimate business transaction, reorganization, merger, or sale, subject to applicable law.
SECTION 22 — GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and disputes arising from their interpretation or enforcement will be governed by applicable United States law and the laws of the state in which Houndier maintains its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws require otherwise.
Any legal proceedings will be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction, subject to applicable venue requirements and any non-waivable rights available to consumers.
Nothing in these Terms deprives a customer of protections provided by mandatory laws applicable in their state of residence.
SECTION 23 — HEADINGS
The headings used throughout these Terms are included for convenience and do not affect their interpretation.
SECTION 24 — CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE
Houndier may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in business operations, products, website functionality, or applicable legal requirements.
The most current version will be available on this page.
When changes are made, we will update the effective date.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice before material changes take effect.
